The paper outlines a procedure to derive the canonical system of equations of the classical theory of thin shells using Reissner’s
variational principle and partial variational principles. The Hamiltonian form of the Reissner functional is obtained using
Lagrange multipliers to include the kinematical conditions that follow from the Kirchhoff-Love hypotheses. It is shown that
the canonical system of equations can be represented in three different forms: one conventional form (five equilibrium equations)
and two forms that are equivalent to it. This can be proved by reducing them to the same system of three equations. For problems
with separable active and passive variables, partial variational principles are formulated

In this paper we consider mathematical models describing dynamic viscoelastic contact problems with the Kelvin–Voigt constitutive law and subdifferential boundary conditions. We treat evolution hemivariational inequalities which are weak formulations of contact problems. We establish the existence of solutions to hemivariational inequalities with different types of non-monotone multivalued boundary relations. These results are consequences of an existence theorem for second order evolution inclusions. In a particular case we deliver sufficient conditions under which the solution to a hemivariational inequality is unique. The stress state of an elastic orthotropic medium with an arbitrarily oriented triaxial ellipsoidal inclusion is analyzed.
A solution is obtained using the triple Fourier transform and the Fourier-transformed Green’s function for an infinite anisotropic
medium. The high efficiency of the approach is demonstrated by solving the problem for a transversely isotropic material with
a spheroidal cavity for which the exact solution is known. A numerical analysis is conducted to study the stress distribution
over the surface of the inclusion with different orientations in the orthotropic space. It is revealed that in some cases
the orientation of the inclusion has a strong effect on the stress concentration

We propose a definition of a generalized type of Knaster–Kuratowski–Mazurkiewicz (KKM) mappings, called a weak T-KKM mapping, and a corresponding weak KKM property. A new extension of the Fan–Glicksberg fixed-point theorem is established. Sufficient conditions for the existence of a continuous selection, a fixed point of a composition, and a coincidence point are also provided. Then, we use the obtained results to study the existence of solutions to various optimization-related problems. The multiple lump solutions method is employed for the purpose of obtaining multiple soliton solutions for the generalized Bogoyavlensky-Konopelchenko(BK) equation. The solutions obtained contain first-order, second-order, and third-order wave solutions. At the critical point,the second-order derivative and Hessian matrix for only one point is investigated, and the lump solution has one maximum value. He's semi-inverse variational principle(SIVP) is also used for the generalized BK equation. Three major cases are studied, based on two different ansatzes using the SIVP. The physical phenomena of the multiple soliton solutions thus obtained are then analyzed and demonstrated in the figures below, using a selection of suitable parameter values.This method should prove extremely useful for further studies of attractive physical phenomena in the fields of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, etc. 相似文献

The identification of multiple interacting inclusions with uniform internal stresses in an infinite elastic matrix subjected to a uniform remote loading is of fundamental importance in the mechanics and design of particulate composite materials. In anti-plane shear and plane deformations, certain sufficient conditions have been established in the literature which guarantee uniform internal stresses inside multiple interacting inclusions displaying various symmetries when the matrix is subjected to specific uniform remote loading. Correspondingly, sufficient conditions which allow for the design of multiple interacting inclusions independent of any specific form of (uniform) remote loading have also been established. In this paper, we demonstrate rigorously that, in all cases, these sufficient conditions are also necessary conditions and indeed allow for the identification of all possible collections of such inclusions. 相似文献

In this work, we consider the heat equation coupled with Stokes equations under threshold type boundary condition. The conditions for existence and uniqueness of the weak solution are made clear. Next we formulate the finite element problem, recall the conditions of its solvability, and study its convergence by making use of Babuska–Brezzi's conditions for mixed problems. Third we formulate an Uzawa's type iterative algorithm that separates the fluid from heat conduction, study its feasibility, and convergence.
